Fast forward a few years to 2008 and the situation is different, one of the units no longer can hand half of it's capacity. In early 2005 I found a couple of cheap Inform UPS battery backup units for my servers. They worked great and did they're simple switching job well when the power went out. Inform 600AP
The UPS is rated for AC 220V 50/60 Hz input and 350 W / 600 VA, 50/60 Hz, AC 220V output.
Opening case
Removing four screws will release the top casing.
Removing battery
The battery is located on the front, the circuitry in the top casing, and the inverter behind the battery.
The battery is easily removed by unmounting the front-panel and disconnecting the positive and negative leads.
CGB manufacturered the original battery unit, model CB1270, a regular 12v 7.0 Ah SLA battery.
