• Circus Hostel - Excellent hostel, clean, modern, efficient staff, view from the window, 21.50 EUR night for 4 person room

Eat

• BIO Company - Organic food supermarket and cafe, tried the bagel with cheese and remoulade, not the best, 3.20 EUR
• Babel - Lebanese cuisine, cozy place with limited seats, try the Shawarma teller with hummos, 7 EUR
• Café Sowohl Als Auch - Stylish cafe in Prenzlauer Berg, great breakfast place, little pricey, try Mykonos, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, herbs, and feta, 5 EUR
• Maroush - Lebanese place in Kreuzberg, excellent sandwiches, try Shawarma vom Hahn with potatoes, 3 EUR
• Circus Cafe - Cafe and bar for the hostel, great breafast buffet, 5 EUR, muesli 2 EUR

• Siegessäule - Pinnacle point in Berlin, view over Tiergarten and most of Berlin, try to get there when there's sun, 3 EUR
• Torstraße - Parade street in old east Berlin, great example of the communist blocks and city layout
